Fox and video-tech company Innovid are launching a new product to TV that is designed to give their audience fewer ads.
So, while you’re in the middle of binge watching your favorite FX show “Atlanta,” you can have the opportunity to choose commercial free streaming and have no interruptions. Fox calls them “Engagement Ads.”
This will be available for users who stream on demand, not users using live TV. For example, Roku users can access the app FX NOW and have the accessibility to stream on demand with this new feature. For those users that prefer to see a certain ad listed on the screen, they can select it and that will give users the choice to engage in specific ads on a deeper level.
